sizing and measuring
If you would like to provide full measurements please use the Measurement Chart below, and enter the measurements in the Comments Box when you checkout.
When measuring, please take the measurements over un-padded bra and pants, and take snugly. The bust should be measured over the fullest part, and the waist measured at the point you wish to narrow – usually a couple of inches above the navel. Where an Underbust measurement is required, this should be taken directly under the bust at bra-band level, and where Hip is required, this will be your measurement where you wish the bottom of the corset to sit. NB this may not be the widest part of your hips. Measurements H and G below should be taken whilst seated, to ensure that you will be able to sit in the corset; we are frequently given measurements which are far too long as this step is not taken. As a guide, H should be no more than 8" and G no more than 7".
Our Hourglass corsets are made with a 4” or 6" reduction on the waist, and Wasp-waist corsets are made with a 6" reduction (unless your waist is less than 26" in which case they will be made with a 5" reduction). If you would like more or less reduction, please mention this when you place your order. Our underbust corsets are made with a 10" busk as standard, and overbust corsets are made with a 13" busk as standard. Should you prefer a longer or shorter length, please request this in the Comments box when you go to Checkout, or complete the full measurement chart.
